Members have the unique opportunity to enjoy a new USC off-mountain house, located in the stunning alpine town of Porepunkah, 5km from Bright. The four bedroom house has outstanding accommodation on a self-catering basis, for up to 10 persons and is part of 12 month trial concept for USC. At member request, you can book “whole of house” (where you have exclusive use of the house) or make individual room bookings (sleeping 1-4 people; you may share the house with other USC members). Good on- and offsite parking. Bus routes to Mt Hotham, Mt Buller and local towns available. Supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, Bright Brewery, Bright gin distillery and several wineries/cellar doors are nearby. Major tourist attractions include the Murray-to-Mountains Rail Trail, mountain biking, Bright golf course, bushwalking and cross country skiing at Mt Buffalo, swimming in the Ovens River and a splash park for the kids in summer. In winter you be at Hotham and Falls Creek in 1 hour.

Gourmet kitchen with 90cm oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. Basic provisions
of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cereal, jam, oil and salt and pepper. Tea towels and baby high chair provided. No Club pantry. BYO catering. BBQ and outside alfresco sitting area.
Living
Large family lounge area with a fireplace, separate quieter lounge and study area. Wifi, television and board games provided. Laundry with washing machine and dryer. Secure ski and bike storage. Option to “work from home” at Porepunkah!
Bedrooms
1 king bed with ensuite, 2 x queen beds and 1 bunkroom with 4 single beds with an additional bathroom. Separate Toilet. Pillows and doonas provided. BYO linen, towels and toiletries. Toilet paper, handwash and cleaning materials provided. A sofa bed may be utilised to sleep 2 additional people when the house is booked exclusively.
Parking and Storage
A double garage with room and racks for bike and ski storage. There is also parking on the driveway and the street out the front.

Porepunkah offers a simpler setup acknowledging its proximity to a large supermarket and choices of restaurants.
