Facilities

Kitchen

As a club which provides much of the food for members and guests, modern kitchen facilities are provided for the use of guests. Ample bench space and modern European appliances mean that whether preparing your own meals or contributing to the club dinner, USC provides everyone with a comfortable and relaxed stay. After all you can’t ski all day on an empty stomach.

Storage

A ski storage area and drying room as soon as you walk in the door.

Accessibility

Falls is our most accessible lodge with just a few steps down from the road and a small step to enter the lodge. Room 1 is on the floor as you enter the lodge with an accessible bathroom right next to the room. It is then a short flight of straight stairs down to the dining room.

Dining

The well-appointed dining facilities provide for a great meeting place. The traditional USC club dinner also takes place here every Saturday night during the ski season catering for up to 40 members and guests. Social activities tend to take place here over fine wines and the occasional cheese platter.

Lounge

A cozy lounge area with multiple groups of seats and a warm fireplace. The lounge is a few steps down from the dining and kitchen areas.

Parking

No parking is available near the lodge in winter months. You will need to carry your luggage up from the main carpark or arrange a trip in the over-snow service.

What to Bring

USC lodges operate on a cooperative basis and everyone’s input is essential. The party leader will allocate small tasks for you to complete during your stay such as cleaning showers or emptying the rubbish bins. Please do your best to complete these small tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the lodge.

On Saturday nights during the season we have club dinners and all are asked to join in. Please indicate on the white board in the dining room who will participate from your party and allocate yourself to a task such as veggies or cleanup.
