You are invited to join the University Ski Club for a 6‑night stay at The Phat Packers, Tsugaike, Hakuba, from 16–22 January 2027, including 5 days of skiing. This trip forms the USC Club component of your 2027 Japan adventure, and we’d love to have you as part of the group.
USC has secured a 10% discount for all members who book directly through The Phat Packers website. While there is currently plenty of availability (up to 120 beds), rooms will be allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

The Phat Packers offers ski‑in, ski‑out access at excellent value, with options ranging from shared dorms to premium slopeside ensuited king rooms. Your stay includes:
- Complimentary breakfast
- Resort transfer bus between Hakuba ski areas
- A location just 300m from the town centre, with many restaurants nearby
🎿 Lift Tickets
Lift passes are significantly cheaper than Australian prices. If you hold an Australian 2026 Epic Pass, lift tickets are free (refer to Epic Pass T&Cs).

- 4‑Bed Dorm – ¥9,000 per night, per bed
- 5‑Bed Dorm – ¥8,000 per night
- 8‑Bed Dorm – ¥7,500 per night
- Compact King – ¥20,000 per night, per room, two people
- Basic King – ¥24,000 per night
- Ensuite King – ¥28,000 per night
- Slopeside Ensuite King – ¥32,000 per night
💳 Payment Terms
- 30% deposit at booking
- Remaining balance due 30 days before arrival (see website for T&D’s)

🎿 Travel Arrangements
All other travel arrangements (flights, transfers, additional travel) are to be organised individually, so that your adventure can be customised. FYI, Nagano Snow Shuttle provides direct transfers from both Tokyo airports to Hakuba accommodation, including The Phat Packers.
🍻 Pre‑Departure Drinks
All USC Japan 2027 participants will be invited to a pre‑trip gathering in Melbourne before departure.
