Do you remember the Cabin? That green hut up there on the side of the Lodge at Buller? A lot of members have fond/fraught memories of staying there from the time it was reassembled at Buller. Did you know that it started life as the Club’s first home on Mt. Donna Buang?
It brought with it lots of the memories of those early years, as well as being a factual reminder of the spartan conditions our founding members endured – all for the love of the sport! Now we want to hear your story about staying in the Cabin.
We want to conduct a series of interviews with members who can share their memories of what it was like skiing at Mt. Buller and staying in the Cabin. Think of three good things (at least) and some comments on the downside of living in the Cabin.
We will interview by Zoom so if you have memorabilia that too can be shown. Interested in sharing your story?
